New York Post readers sound off about Decarlos Brown Jr. being found "incapable to proceed" to trial for butchering Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska on a train. ‘Incapable’ killer Decarlos Brown Jr., who butchered Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska, has been found “incapable to proceed” on murder charges (“NC rail slay trial delayed,” April 9).
This is the same animal with at least 14 previous arrests. He was never found incapable in those other 14 crimes. But now that the death penalty is on the table, all of a sudden he’s mentally unstable.
Somehow, I think if the races were reversed, he would have been electrocuted in a New York minute.
The Artemis II adventure is going well, reminding Baby Boomers of the Apollo program and inspiring the youth of today to look up — especially to look up from their phones (“Over the moon at farthest reach,” April 7).
We can hope this will continue; that people land on the moon again, head for Mars and do whatever comes next.
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has now totally distanced herself from support for Israel, opposing aid even for defensive Iron Dome technology (“AOC Goes Full-Tilt Anti-Israel,” Editorial, April 6).
This feckless pandering to Democrats’ radical socialist base is particularly regrettable. Beyond endangering Israeli civilians, it disses Jewish American and non-Jewish supporters of Israel, some of whom have supported her in the past.
What’s equally disturbing is the absence of criticism of her pathetic stand from those who would claim to support Israel, including Sen. Chuck Schumer, Rep. Hakeem Jeffries and Gov. Hochul.
Despite its tone of frivolity, the headline on your article about a woman giving birth on a Caribbean airlines flight en route to JFK Airport suggests more serious legal implications (“Little angel born on JFK jet,” April 6).
Giving birth while approaching the airport suggests contested eligibility for birthright citizenship, family access to welfare including SNAP benefits, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families and residency in the United States. This is hardly what the 14th Amendment intended.
No magazine is more indicative of the leftist manifesto than Vogue (“Hate is back in Vogue,” Kirsten Fleming, April 8).
Anna Wintour has never had a conservative first lady grace its cover. Why? Because it’s only for the party of inclusion and love — give me a minute until I stop laughing.
She praised Mayor Mamdani’s bride, an antisemite and cheerleader of the wanton murder of innocent women and children by Hamas.
Wintour, Meryl Streep and many other clueless dolts just can’t get over their derangement syndromes.
If “Saturday Night Live” joked about a Joe Biden assassination and Republicans cheered, you-know-what would’ve hit the fan (“ ‘SNL’ lobs sick Don death joke,” April 6).
The left-wing cancel culture of today is just plain sick. What was aired on national TV was contemptible. And if anything deserves to be canceled, it’s “SNL.”
