First of 3 novels from showbiz vet Rob Shuter — who once repped Diddy, JLo — set to come out this month

Gossip columnist and former celebrity publicist Rob Shuter, who repped the likes of Jennifer Lopez, Jessica Simpson and Sean “Diddy” Combs, has inked a three-book deal with Post Hill Press.

Shuter’s debut novel, “It Started with a Whisper,” is slated to come out April 21.

He described the book as a work of fiction “inspired by my very real life inside the celebrity machine,” loosely based on his time co-hosting VH1’s “The Gossip Table” with Delaina Dixon, Marianne Garvey and Chloe Melas from 2013 to 2015.

The second novel from the loquacious Brit, who writes a column for The National Enquirer and has a Substack and podcast both called “Naughty But Nice,” is slated for November. It will delve into the intrigue and drama of the British royal family, offering a bold and fictionalized look behind palace walls.

A third novel — set inside the newsroom of a legendary tabloid as it breaks the biggest stories of the century — is also scheduled for release this year.

Sources said Shuter — whose self-help book “The Four Word Answer” came out in 2021 — has already had informal talks with heavy hitters like Netflix to sell the movie and TV rights for his new books.

“It Started with a Whisper” takes inspiration from Shuter’s time as a co-host of VH1’s “The Gossip Table.” Post Hill Press While Shuter declined to comment on that, he told The Post: “I couldn’t be more thrilled to partner with Post Hill Press on these books.”

“These stories are sharp, fast, and full of the kind of behind-the-scenes drama I’ve spent my career chasing. ‘It Started With a Whisper’ is just the beginning,” he added.
