A new video purportedly showing Luka Doncic in Spain this week has emerged, and it’s got some Lakers fans feeling optimistic.
The footage, according to Spanish media outlet EFE Deportes, was shot on Tuesday, several days after it was revealed Doncic had traveled to Madrid to get special treatment on his ailing hamstring.
The clip shows a drove of fans descending on the 27-year-old All-Star as he was departing from a Spanish hotel. Doncic could then be seen in the vid signing some autographs, before he hopped into an awaiting SUV.
Luka Doncic injured his hamstring during a game earlier this month against the Thunder. Lakers supporters have shown some serious love to the visuals on social media, noting Doncic does not appear to be sporting a limp in them.
Doncic’s svelte shape has also excited his fans.
Doncic injured his left leg during the Lakers’ road matchup with the Thunder on April 2. He was diagnosed with a Grade 2 strain, and given a 4-to-6 week timeline for a return to the hardwood.
