This is the ‘only’ mascara Alix Earle will use: ‘My one nonnegotiable’

Make Page Six a Preferred Source Alix Earle has been using the same mascara since high school. Getty Images Want to get ready like Alix Earle? This mascara is the key.

While the content creator has tried no shortage of products over the years, there’s one makeup must-have to which she’s particularly loyal: Too Faced Better Than Sex Waterproof Mascara.

“This is the only mascara that I will use,” she declared in a recent Who What Wear interview. “I discovered it in high school, and I haven’t switched it up since.”

She even brings it along when she gets her glam professionally done, calling it her “one nonnegotiable product.”

“I feel like it does a really good job of holding the curl, which is why I love the waterproof version,” she explained. “But it also gives you really great volume. It makes my lashes feel full and long, and they stay all night long.”

Earle’s not the only star who swears by it, as Paige DeSorbo told E! in 2024 that Better Than Sex is “really good” and one of her “favorite waterproof mascaras.”

And influencer Tinx keeps the original, non-waterproof version on hand, telling the same outlet it’s “so rare” to find a formula that “never clumps.”

The cult classic has even been linked to Taylor Swift; she’s seen applying it in her “Miss Americana” documentary, and even once gifted it to a lucky fan for “Swiftmas.”

“I know the mascara name is ridiculous but it’s the best mascara I swear,” she wrote in an accompanying note at the time.

It seems plenty of stars (and shoppers) agree: Better Than Sex is also better than other mascaras on the market.

Earle also co-signed this editor-loved palette, saying it helps her avoid getting overwhelmed by eyeshadow options.

“I feel like [this one] just melts everything into place and makes it come together,” she told Who What Wear of this affordable setting spray.

She also said she’s recently upped her perfume collection, adding sweeter scents like this strawberry blend.
