US stock futures were little changed on Friday as investors looked past AI trade-financing worries and turned their focus to upcoming earnings next week.

Futures for Dow Jones Industrial Average (YM=DF) gained 0.3%, while the S&P 500 (ES=F) gained 0.2%. Contracts for the Nasdaq 100 (NQ=F) edged slightly lower after all three major averages closed in the green on Thursday.

The S&P 500 and Nasdaq were on track for weekly losses after a sell-off in chips earlier this week. The Dow, meanwhile, was on pace to finish the week up roughly 1%.

Shares of Nvidia-backed CoreWeave (CRWV) came under pressure this week amid concerns over its debt-heavy balance sheet. The stock rebounded on Thursday after Nvidia (NVDA) CEO Jensen Huang voiced optimism about the neocloud provider.

Investors have been rotating out of Tech (XLK) and into defensive sectors such as Health Care (XLV), which climbed to record highs.

Bonds have also attracted buying interest, with the 10-year Treasury yield (^TNX) hovering near 5.09%

In pre-market trading, Tesla (TSLA) shares popped 3% after the EV maker unveiled a jaw-dropping redesign of the Roadster.

Earnings season continues with Tesla on deck for next week. Streaming giant Netflix (NFLX) and social media giant Meta (META) will also post quarterly results.

After a two-week delay, the Tesla (TSLA) Roadster event went off with a massive bang — a flying one.

The wedge-shaped, cyberpunk-looking Roadster EV appeared in front of an inverted half roller coaster ramp erected at SpaceX's facility in Waco, Texas. The Roadster cruised halfway up — glued to the ramp using a vacuum fan system — then launched off the ramp upside down and performed flips in the air, using air thrusters to right itself and land on the tarmac.

Tesla stock rose as much as 5.4% during premarket trading on Friday following the Roadster event.
