The question was posed to the new head coach of the Giants: What makes you think you can come in and win immediately with your new team? After all, the Giants went 4-13 in 2025 and 3-14 in 2024. That is quite a litany of losing for Harbaugh to extinguish.

“The league is a lot tighter than you might think,’’ Harbaugh said recently at the NFL’s annual league meeting. “It’s a tight margin proposition. Every game is close.’’

Well, not every game is close. The Giants last season were beaten soundly by the Commanders, Chiefs, Eagles, 49ers and Patriots.
