Angel Reese drops stunning Victoria’s Secret campaign after trade bombshell

Angel Reese was business as usual while in New York after the two-time Chicago Sky All-Star was traded to the Atlanta Dream in a Monday blockbuster.

The 23-year-old forward attended the launch of her first-ever Victoria’s Secret global campaign for the brand’s “Season of Strapless” swim collection at the 5th Avenue flagship store in New York on Tuesday.

The summer campaign, which was shot in Barbados, shows Reese modeling a strapless maroon top and matching bottoms while holding new Victoria’s Secret Bombshell Bronze perfume.

The Reebok athlete, who sported a curly pixie haircut, arrived in a limo to the Victoria’s Secret retail store and posed in front of a storefront of her campaign.

“As the face of our Summer season, Angel leads with impact across Bombshell Bronze Fine Fragrance, our Summer Swim collection, and the new Invisible by Victoria’s Secret Strapless collection,” said Adam Selman, EVP, Chief Creative Officer at Victoria’s Secret & Co.

Reese, who began modeling during her college days at LSU, isn’t new to working with the Victoria’s Secret brand.

The former NCAA champ made her Victoria’s Secret runway debut at the lingerie brand’s fashion show in New York last October — and made history as the first professional athlete to walk in the VS Fashion Show.

Reese also appeared in the 2023 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.

The Victoria’s Secret summer campaign released as the Reese trade news rocked the WNBA.

The Sky will get first-round picks in 2027 and 2028, with the Dream getting a second-round pick swap in 2028, along with Reese, in the deal.

“I’m beyond grateful for the opportunity to join the Atlanta Dream organization,” Reese said. “I’m focused on continuing to grow my game, competing at the highest level, connecting with the fans, and giving everything I’ve got to the Dream.”

Reese, who did not request a trade, and the Sky worked closely to find her a new home, according to ESPN, which reported there was no contentiousness between the two parties.

Reese has averaged 14 points and 13 rebounds per game in her first two WNBA seasons.

She led the league in double-doubles (23) last season.
