Margaret Qualley is taking it back to the early aughts with her latest look.
Appearing in friend Sabrina Carpenter’s latest music video, “House Tour,” Qualley wears a vintage Betsey Johnson dress that looks just as good in 2026 as it did in the nineties.
The lingerie-inspired mini has all the markers of the decade: spaghetti straps, mini hemline, slinky silhouette and contrasting pink inset lace.
Qualley, in true 2002 fashion, chose to style it over a visible black bra underneath and a coordinated pink skinny scarf around her neck.
And if the look seems familiar, it’s because Gen-Z stars including Maddie Ziegler, Iris Apatow and Olivia Rodriguez have all worn nineties-era Betsey Johnson recently.
In fact, Apatow wore Qualley’s exact dress in 2024 at SXSW.
Sharing a slideshow of behind-the-scenes snaps from the filming of the video, Qualley wrote, “I have time.”
The actress, however, didn’t just appear in Carpenter’s latest drop; in fact, she directed it alongside the singer.
Madelyn Cline also features in the short film, which sees the duo as high-glam burglars. Cline wears a floral poncho over a blue bra and pantie set while Carpenter rocks leopard-printed hot pants and skips a top in favor of a blue bra and pink bolero, adding flair with an embellished beret.
In just three days, Carpenter will be returning to Coachella as a headliner, having last appeared on the festival’s stage in 2024 when she debuted her now-famous track “Espresso.”
