A stranger repeatedly punched a 30-year-old man in the face in an unprovoked attack as he waited for a train in Brooklyn last week, cops said.
The maniac randomly pummeled the victim on the southbound No. 2 train platform of the Beverly Road station in Flatbush around 12:50 p.m. Friday, police said.
The victim was hospitalized for pain and swelling, but was listed in stable condition.

“We ended the quarter down, actually 1% in subway crime,” she added. “So we had a very good month of March. We basically saw crime fall in all categories in transit, and again, once the weather normalizes we can go back to our normal ejection strategy in transit.”
She said the 150 officers added to the subway system at the end of February helped contribute to the dip in crime.
