While this morning’s episode featured Sara Eisen filling in for Alyssa Farah Griffin, the CNBC reporter was not in fact making a return to the Hot Topics table. The episode was a repeat that originally aired on Thursday, March 19, and also included appearances from Imperfect Women stars Kerry Washington, Elisabeth Moss, and Kate Mara.
Friday’s (April 3) episode was also a rerun, though the episode originally aired on March 3, when guest co-host and The View alum Elisabeth Hasselbeck was seated at the Hot Topics Table.
Griffin is set to be back on The View on Monday, April 13, marking only two months of maternity since giving birth to her son, Justin Patrick Griffin Jr., on Feb. 10.
Co-host Sara Haines posted on Instagram that she recently visited Griffin and her new baby, captioning the post, “my girl and her new little boy 💙.”

Yes, The View is airing a rerun today—and not just today! This entire week will consist of encore broadcasts of the ABC daytime talk show as they take a hiatus for the Easter holiday. Tomorrow’s episode previously aired on March 5, featuring Hasselbeck and guest Daniel Radcliffe, who recently lent his voice to the new Hulu stoner comedy, Pizza Movie.
