Sydney Sweeney’s not afraid to style her underwear as outerwear.
The 28-year-old actress — who launched her own lingerie line, Syrn, earlier this year — shared an Instagram photo dump Sunday that included a shot of the star modeling her brand’s see-through Spellbound Lace Tee ($54) and Sweet Escape High Rise Cheeky Boyshort ($24), the latter of which peeked out over the waistband of her distressed jeans.
The upload also included photos of Sweeney traveling with friends, posing with her dog Sully Bear — and a second lingerie snap highlighting styles from Syrn.
In the bathroom selfie captured at the Hotel Chelsea, Sweeney pairs the Forget Me Not Unlined Balconette Bra ($59) with the Booty Call Unisex Knit Boxer ($29), both visible beneath an open blue oxford button-up and jeans.
It’s an outfit we’ve seen before, when Sweeney was snapped by the paparazzi during Syrn’s launch week; that time, of course, the star wore her shirt buttoned up.
When Sweeney introduced Syrn, she said her company was about “the art of the tease.”
It’s since become apparent that her mission statement has multiple meanings.
On one hand, she’s practicing what she preaches, bringing back the visible lingerie trend of the early aughts and leaning into the tease of flirty dressing as a whole.
On the other, the concept of Syrn’s small, capsule-specific drops is a tease in and of itself.
Syrn launched with four themed collections this past winter — and just a few weeks ago, Sweeney dropped “Seductress, Part Two,” suggesting she’d be adding more styles to each of those offerings.
