“Saturday Night Live” mused over the weekend about the possibility of President Trump being assassinated — much to the delight of its far-left audience.
The sick moment occurred during the show’s “Weekend Update” segment when co-host Michael Che crowbarred the “joke” into a bit about the president attending a performance at the recently renamed Trump Kennedy Center in Washington, DC.
“Weekend Update” co-host Michael Che cracked the desperate joke to the delight of the Trump-hating audience. NBC “President Trump attended the opening night of ‘Chicago’ at the Kennedy center, and I think that’s cool that the president is going to the theater, I mean, what’s the worst that could happen?” Che said — in an oblique reference to the assassination of Abraham Lincoln.
Che flashed a grin as the audience dutifully responded with an over-the-top guffaw followed by a lengthy and enthusiastic round of applause.

President Trump faced two assassination attempts during the 2024 campaign.
While speaking at a campaign rally in Butler, Pa., on July 13 that year, Trump’s right ear was grazed by a gunman’s bullet.
The bullet missed the president’s head by millimeters.
Then that September, Ryan Wesley Routh was preparing to kill Trump as he golfed at his Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Fla., but was arrested by the Secret Service before he could carry out his plot.
