Gavin Newsom’s wife mocked for babbling lecture on Trump’s firings of women

California First Partner Jennifer Siebel Newsom earned widespread mockery for calling President Trump’s firing of former Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem and Attorney General Pam Bondi a decision that “systemically disrespects, devalues and discriminates against women and girls.”

The wife of Gov. Gavin Newsom’s made the claims in a pointed TikTok video aimed at ripping the Trump administration for his cabinet ousters.

“I’m not a fan of Pam Bondi, nor Kristi Noem, but I need to call out that it’s no surprise to me that the first two prominent people pushed out of this administration were women,” Siebel Newsom said, claiming that the pair contributed to an agenda that puts women in “straitjacket of femininity that is only in service of men.”

“There’s no secure place inside this handpicked patriarchal body that systemically disrespects, devalues and discriminates against women and girls,” she added.

“When you align yourself with that value system, with a leader who has publicly devalued women, degraded them, and then found liable of abusing women. Well, guess what? You’re going to be the first to go.”

Many took to social media to torch Siebel Newsom for her lecturing.

“This woman might single-handedly destroy any chance Newsom has at becoming president,” former TV personality Kevin Steele wrote on Facebook.

“Newsom’s wife is insufferable. She believes that because Pam Bondi is leaving, no woman is safe in Trump’s administration unless they pay him and are rich,” conservative political commentator Ana Bredenberg added on X.

“Now that Gavin Newsom is running for President. It’s time for his wife to record her every thought and tell it to the world,” conservative radio host Kevin Smith wrote on X.

Trump fired Noem last month and handed Bondi her pink slip earlier this week. The pair became the first prominent cabinet members to leave the administration during Trump’s second term.

Democrats were quick to accuse Trump of misogyny for ousting the prominent women in his administration.

“Well… first it was Kristi Noem, now it’s Pam Bondi… I see a theme,” Rep. Jasmine Crockett, who recently lost her Texas Senate primary, wrote on X. “He will throw the incompetent women under the bus a lot faster than the incompetent men.”
