The optics around Tiger Woods’ DUI arrest are only getting worse.
A second mug shot of the golf legend was released Friday, which was far less flattering than the first.
It showed him in blue prison garb, stone-faced and with his hair messed up after being booked at the Martin County Sheriff’s Office.
He was dressed in a blue polo when he was arrested, with his eyes looking bloodshot in the original photo.
Woods, 50, was arrested for DUI on March 27 after striking a truck and flipping over his Range Rover near his home in Jupiter Island, Fla.
Body cam footage of his arrest has since been released, showing him failing the field sobriety test as he admitted to taking “a few pills.”
Two pills, which, according to the police report, were hydrocodone, were found inside Woods’ pocket.
Woods blew negative on his breathalyzer test, refused a urinalysis test, but showed “signs of impairment”, police said.
He told the officer at the scene that he was “looking down at his cell phone and changing the radio station” at the time of the crash.
The 15-time major champion also said to police that he had just gotten off the phone with President Donald Trump.
Woods pleaded not guilty to charges of misdemeanor driving under the influence with property damage and refusal to submit to a lawful test.
He was also issued a non-criminal citation Thursday for careless driving that comes with a $163 fine.
Woods released a statement on March 31 saying he will be “stepping away for a period of time to seek treatment and focus on my health.”
He was approved to seek treatment outside the U.S. after stating privacy concerns. Woods arrived in Zurich, Switzerland on Friday morning, according to TMZ.
Wood said in his statement that he is “committed to taking the time needed to return in a healthier, stronger, and more focused place, both personally and professionally.”
The incident happened days after his return to competitive golf for the first time since July 2024, with Woods undergoing back surgery in late 2025.
Woods competed with his Juniper Links Golf Club in the final of the TGL league he helped create.
It could be a while before we see that again. Woods announced he will not be playing in the upcoming Masters and pulled his name out of consideration to be the U.S. Ryder Cup captain in 2027.
