Jessica Simpson is reportedly dating Nashville-based roadie musician Thomas Eisenhood a year after splitting from her estranged husband Eric Johnson.
Sources told TMZ the duo has only been romantically involved for the past three months whenever Simpson visits her Nashville home.
The pair reportedly hit it off after being introduced through mutual friends, but are taking it slow.
Eisenhood hasn’t met Simpson’s three children: Maxwell, 13, Ace, 12, and Birdie, 6, with Johnson.
The “Dukes of Hazzard” actress announced her break up from Johnson after 10 years of marriage in January 2025 after months of breakup speculation.
At the time, sources told Page Six that the split was due to the former couple’s “trust issues” that “drove a wedge between them.”

According to his Instagram posts, Eisenhood has been in Nashville dating back to 2018.
Meanwhile, Simpson first moved to the city in 2023 to focus on her music.
“As mothers, we’re people pleasers. We want to make sure everybody’s happy, nobody’s crying,” she told The Cut in 2025. “We come last here in L.A. I needed to go somewhere where I was first. Not that I didn’t think of my children.”
Eisenhood was formerly a member of the Stoop Kids band.
According to the band’s biography, they were “born out of frontman Griffin Dean’s affinity for layering old doo-wop records and hip-hop beats.”
Stoop Kids became “a genre-bending 5-piece band with elements of trap, funk, Metal, surf, and RnB,”
However, the group has since broken up, per their Instagram bio.
The musician showed off his skills in September, sharing footage of himself on social media playing the saxophone.
“I’ve got to give a huge shout out to @thebandloula for not only letting me get up and play some sax on our last show of tour, but encouraging me to despite my own misgivings about it,” Eisenhood gushed in the caption.
He added, “I’ve done it with them before from the soundboard, but they had me get up on stage with them to close out our last show and that was extremely special, thank you guys for everything!”
Simpson liked the post and commented a smush face emoji.
Eisenhood has since been performing with The Band Loula since 2025.
Eisenhood has posted from several different places over the past few years, including Arizona, New York City, Denver and Aruba.
In 2024, the artist shared a series of photos from his travels with the American alternative country band, Old 97’s, writing on Instagram, “(Mostly) chronological order of the west coast tour with @old97s – way more snow than expected… But we had an absolute blast despite the nagging injuries, illnesses, lost and/or stolen bags etc.”
Just last August, Eisenhood gave followers a life update after being off the grid for a while.
“I want to say more seeing as I haven’t posted in over 6 months, but tbh there’s too much to try to put in a damn instagram caption. Just know it’s been a fkn blast and @thebandloula is the s–t.”
Eisenhood has posted several family shots to social media over the years.
In 2021, he shared a snap of himself and his brother posing with their dad as kids in honor of Father’s Day.
A few years earlier, in 2019, the sax player praised his younger sibling for graduating.
“This stud just graduated high school this weekend, had a blast in Houston cheering him on!” Eisenhood wrote on Instagram alongside a picture of himself, his brother and his mom.
Simpson and Eisenhood reportedly first started seeing each other earlier this year whenever the pop star is in town.
Despite the couple not yet being spotted out together, Simpson hasn’t shied away from liking and commenting on her new beau’s social media posts.
The mom of three has “hearted” Eisenhood’s posts dating all the way back to July 2024.
