PALISADES PROVIDES EXPLORATION UPDATE ACROSS ITS EXTENSIVE MADE IN AMERICA GOLD PORTFOLIO IN NEVADA CNW Group Wed, October 14, 2026 at 6:30 AM EDT 13 min read PALI.V -0.20% GC=F -0.27% VANCOUVER, BC, Oct. 14, 2026 /CNW/ -- Palisades Goldcorp Ltd. (TSXV: PALI) ("Palisades") is pleased to provide new exploration results from its Nevada subsidiary Made in America Gold Corp. (the "Company", "Made in America Gold" or "MIAG"). Building on the December 3, 2025 update, the Company has now received robust geochemical results from its recent field programs across the Battle Mountain district, including a completed 850-sample Ionic Leach™ survey at Mill Creek, confirmation and expansion of historic gold and trace element anomalism at Horse Mountain, and integrated soil, magnetic, and hyperspectral targeting at Lewis. These results advance MIAG's objective of defining compelling new drill targets towards the goal of a significant new discovery along the prolific Battle Mountain trend in Nevada (Figure 1).
Horse Mountain – recent soil geochemical surveys confirm historic Carlin-type gold and arsenic-antimony-mercury-thallium pathfinder anomalies above historic drilling intercepts in 2005, where Barrick's BHM001 hit 29.9 m @ 0.8 g/t, including 10.06 m @ 1.6 g/t Au in favourable Lower Plate carbonate rocks at just 282 metres depth. A new sampling grid at the east block of Horse Mountain shows similar gold and pathfinder anomalism associated with airborne hyperspectral clay anomalism (Figure 2).
Mill Creek – an 850-sample Ionic Leach soil survey defines a nearly 2 km long coherent gold-copper-silver anomaly (Figure 3) along north-south basement structures and above a large magnetic anomaly interpreted as an intrusive centre, targeted for the same gold porphyry-skarn model as the nearby Cove-McCoy mine and Nevada Gold Mines's Phoenix Mine Complex, just 9 km to the west and 20 km to the north, respectively, as well as the target model for Roxmore Resources' Converse Gold Project, which SSR Mining agreed to acquire on October 13, 2026. MIAG has submitted a Notice of Intent (NOI) drilling permit to the BLM, with targets selected to test these new anomalies and depth to basement.
Lewis – new soil geochemical results highlight areas of past production, like the 4.2 Moz of silver at Betty O'Neal, and have generated new untested targets, such as Talon, where a 700 m by 200 m area exceeds 300 ppb gold and reaches as high as 1.0 g/t Au in soil in multiple samples (Figure 4). Each target area is defined by magnetic highs, rhyolite dykes, gold-bismuth-arsenic anomalism, and hyperspectral clay anomalies, which converge on a refined geological model for a steeply west-plunging feeder system, hosted in Antler Sequence carbonates.
Portfolio soil geochemistry – the district-wide database now exceeds 7,900 samples across seven district-scale projects, with several target area soil anomalies an order of magnitude higher than peer exploration targets, enabling cross-project calibration and target ranking. Further soil sampling to infill target areas is now underway at the South Cortez project and is planned for Buffalo Valley.
From Made in America Gold's CEO, Justin Daley, "These results validate the systematic approach we set out across the Battle Mountain district and the potential value of that work as acquisition activity heats up nearby. At Horse Mountain we have not only confirmed the historic Miranda anomalies sitting atop long, gold-mineralized drill intervals but also generated new Carlin-type targets with the same trace element and structural signature being drilled elsewhere in the district. At Mill Creek the completed Ionic Leach survey has delivered exactly the concealed-target response we staked the property to find, and at Lewis we now have multiple targets with soil, magnetic, and hyperspectral datasets pointing to a consistent geologic model and potential for a common feeder at depth. The strength of controlling such a broad, contiguous land position is the ability to run the same rigorous, multi-dataset workflow across every project, and then concentrate our drill targeting where the potential for a large-scale system is greatest. That is precisely what these results allow us to do."
Horse Mountain – Carlin-Type Gold and Trace Element Vectoring
Conventional soil geochemistry across the Horse Mountain grid has returned strong Carlin-type gold anomalism with a coincident arsenic-antimony-mercury-thallium pathfinder signature (Figure 2). The results confirm and extend the historic gold, mercury, and trace element anomalies defined by Miranda Gold, tying surface geochemistry to the clay alteration mapped by MIAG's airborne hyperspectral survey and to gold intercepts by Barrick in relatively shallow favourable Lower Plate carbonate host below.
A new sampling grid over the east block of Horse Mountain returns similar and more widespread gold and pathfinder anomalism coincident with airborne hyperspectral clay alteration. The trace element associations and structural setting are directly analogous to those reported at Riley Gold's nearby PWC project just 5 km to the NE, where drilling has confirmed a source for surface Carlin-type gold and pathfinder soil anomalies and evidence of leakage of hydrothermal fluids along high-angle brittle faults above Lower Plate carbonate rocks. Historic 2005 Barrick Gold drilling at Horse Mountain returned 29.9 m of 0.80 g/t Au, including 10.06 m of 1.60 g/t Au, from 282.3 m in BHM001, among other intercepts, from vertical holes that do not represent true widths. Nevada Gold Mines ("NGM") is planning for follow-up drilling less than one kilometre to the north at its Swift project, which NGM acquired outright from Ridgeline Minerals in August 2026 as part of Ridgeline's C$33 million sale of its Carlin and Cortez Trend gold portfolio.
Mill Creek – Ionic Leach Survey Results
A total of 850 new Ionic Leach samples has been collected and analyzed across the Mill Creek property (Figure 3) with another 224 now at ALS for analysis, located 9 kilometres east of I-80 Gold's past-producing Cove-McCoy Mine in an area of thinner basin overburden. Ionic Leach provides ultra-low-level selective analysis to detect subtle geochemical halos above buried mineral systems. Test lines across the property in fall 2025 were infilled on the north half of the property and define a nearly 2 km long, coherent gold-copper-silver and pathfinder anomaly coincident with a magnetic anomaly interpreted as an intrusive centre, a setting specifically prospective for gold-copper skarn as well as distal Carlin-style gold along the same regionally important structures that host gold mineralization at the nearby Cove-McCoy and Phoenix deposits. The target model for Mill Creek is also analogous to Roxmore Resources' Converse Gold Project, an intrusion-related gold skarn system centred on the Redline stock, which SSR Mining agreed to acquire on October 13, 2026, for approximately US$464 million in cash. New gravity and magnetotelluric data have been acquired over the gold-copper skarn target at Mill Creek, with inversions underway to better understand the target geometry at depth. The Company has submitted a Notice of Intent drilling permit application for Mill Creek, and plans are underway for a drone magnetic survey to further refine drill targets.
Lewis – Integrated Soil, Magnetic, and Hyperspectral Targeting
At Lewis, soil geochemistry has returned strong gold-silver-arsenic-bismuth anomalism spatially associated with airborne hyperspectral clay alteration developed around rhyolite dykes (Figure 4). Airborne magnetic data indicate that these near-surface geochemical anomalies sit above magnetic bodies that plunge steeply west, down-dip of bedding, and provide a clear drill-targeting vector into the interpreted feeder system hosted in Antler Sequence carbonates. Soil results highlight both past-producing ground, such as the Betty O'Neal area (historic production reported at approximately 4.2 Moz of silver), and new untested targets such as Talon, where gold in soil samples exceeds 300 ppb over a 700 m by 200 m area. The new geochemistry complements historic Nevada King Gold drilling at Lewis, which returned 83.9 m at 1.04 g/t gold in L21-015, and refines the alteration footprint mapped by handheld SWIR scanning of RC chips.
The 2025 conventional soil programs at Lewis, Horse Mountain, and Carico Lake expand MIAG's portfolio-wide geochemical database, which now exceeds 7,900 soil samples across seven district-scale projects. This growing, internally consistent dataset allows the Company to compare and calibrate geochemical responses across multiple geological settings and to prioritize the most prospective targets for drill testing.
Modern Hyperspectral Exploration Technology
Made in America Gold is utilizing both advanced airborne hyperspectral surveys and handheld hyperspectral analysis of historic core and reverse circulation (RC) chips to accelerate exploration. The airborne survey collects long- and short-wave infrared wavelengths (LWIR and SWIR) at metre-scale pixels to map alteration minerals related to the Carlin-type, epithermal, and intrusion-related gold systems characteristic of the multimillion-ounce deposits along the Battle Mountain – Eureka Trend. It has revealed extensive alteration anomalies across the portfolio, some associated with known surface mineralization and historic gold-silver production at Lewis, and others in relatively underexplored areas with strong clay alteration indicative of buried hydrothermal systems, such as those now supported by soil geochemistry at Horse Mountain.
The downhole SWIR data continues to help identify alteration assemblages related to significant gold intersections at Iron Point and Lewis from core and RC drilling by Nevada King Gold between 2018 and 2022. This spectral information, alongside multi-element geochemistry and magnetic interpretation, is being used to map the geometry of fluid pathways and guide follow-up drill targeting.
MIAG's use of both conventional soil sampling and Ionic Leach analysis reflects a tailored approach to the unique challenges of exploration in Nevada's Basin and Range Province. Conventional soil geochemistry provides effective detection of surface expressions of mineralization in areas with thin soil development and around exposed bedrock, within the Shoshone and Toiyabe Ranges. In contrast, the Ionic Leach technique targets subtle signatures that migrate through transported gravel and soil cover, a common feature in Nevada's fault-bounded basins, allowing the detection of mineral systems concealed beneath post-mineral gravels.
This dual-method strategy enables MIAG to calibrate geochemical responses across varying depths of cover, building a regional geochemical model that accounts for both surficial and concealed mineralization environments. The combination of these datasets is designed to reduce exploration risk by distinguishing transported anomalies from genuine hydrothermal sources, improving targeting precision for future drill testing.
Conventional soil samples were collected from a depth of approximately 30 cm and shipped by company personnel to Paragon Geochemical in Sparks, NV. Samples are analyzed by Fire Assay for gold and multi-element ICP-MS, with a gold detection limit of 5 ppb. Ionic Leach samples were collected from a depth of approximately 30 cm below the caliche layer and shipped by company personnel to ALS Global in Reno, NV, and analyzed by the proprietary Ionic Leach selective partial-extraction procedure with determination by ICP-MS. Soil and Ionic Leach results are indications of geochemical anomalism only. They are not indicative of the presence, continuity, grade, width or economic potential of mineralization at depth, and no mineral resource has been defined on any of the Company's properties.
