Giants rookie Daniel Susac has unreal MLB debut — but one family member was having a bad time

Daniel Susac brought a cheering section to his first MLB start, but one member of his coterie had enough.

As the 24-year-old catcher singled in the seventh inning for his third hit of the dreamy debut in a 7-2 win over the Mets, his family went understandably bananas.

Susac’s nephew Chuck, held by the freshly minted MLBer’s brother, Matt, was caught on camera seemingly not enjoying the boisterous bouncing and noisy confines at Oracle Park in San Francisco.

“We’re all saying in our family group chat right now we have to get that kid an agent,” Susac’s fiancee Drew Koltko told MLB.com.

Koltko deserves some credit for Susac’s stunning start, which included three singles, a four-pitch walk and an ABS challenge win.

“So nerve-wracking,” Koltko told MLB.com. “But I told him from the first time that we got here, he’s going to get a hit in his first at-bat. … He did that [the ABS challenge] in Triple-A all the time last year, so he was pretty familiar with it, but seeing it in a big league stadium is just surreal.”

“I definitely always envisioned it as a little kid, but to actually live it out was awesome,” Daniel said.

“I probably went through this exact scenario so many times in the backyard with my brothers, so it was a pretty fun one altogether.”

That includes Chuck, who recovered by the end of the night, with Koltko posting video of him jumping on a couch as he watched his uncle do a postgame interview on NBC Sports Bay Area.

“For everyone wondering,” she wrote. “Yes, Charles is okay!”
