Getty Images The NFL gathered in Phoenix this week for its annual meetings in what is essentially a league-wide convention. Owners, executives, coaches, agents and media descended on the Biltmore hotel, and there was plenty to talk about as we move closer to the NFL draft and team’s spring programs.
Both Jets coach Aaron Glenn and general manager Darren Mougey spoke with the media and shed some light on their offseason plans. Here are five Jets takeaways from the league meetings:

1. There was a lot of talk from Glenn and Mougey about their tour of pro days last week. They went to Miami, Notre Dame, Ohio State and Texas Tech and had a private workout with Alabama quarterback Ty Simpson.
Both Glenn and Mougey spoke about the benefit of being able to meet the players and spend time with some of them. It also seemed like Glenn and Mougey enjoyed the time together.
