Miska Salemann I’m not one to rely on melatonin. Anymore, that is.
I dabbled with it back in college, and paid for it with bizarre dreams, next-day brain fog and, on one occasion, sleeping straight through my alarm and missing a class the next morning. And, I know I’m not the only one who has experienced some bizarre side effects with melatonin.
Since then, I’ve stuck to my weighted blankets and gentler sleep supplements with magnesium and L-theanine. But when Lemme Sleep — a top-seller from Kourtney Kardashian’s wellness brand — started popping up all over my social media feeds, I figured it might be worth a second chance. They’re currently priced at $30, but you can save 10% when you subscribe on Amazon.
I already love Lemme’s lineup of fruit-flavored gummies (yes, they truly taste like candy). And, I’ve noticed some benefits with a few of the other formulas. The Lemme Chill Ashwagandha gummies have become my go-to for taking the edge off, and I appreciate the essential nutrients I am getting with my Lemme Multis. So, I figured, why not go full Kourtney Kardashian protocol and add Lemme Sleep to the mix?
After a few weeks, the verdict is in: I have zero regrets. Each serving of Lemme Sleep packs 5 mg of melatonin, which is a slightly lower dose than what I was taking in my college days. I can feel that it gently rouses me toward sleep without knocking me out cold, and I suspect the other carefully chosen ingredients are what really set it apart (see more on that below).
If you’re after a smoother, more predictable wind-down but don’t want to overdo it and risk becoming a melatonin-dependent, I have a feeling you’ll feel the same about Lemme Sleep.
In addition to 5 grams of melatonin, each serving of Lemme Sleep delivers 50 mg of L-theanine — the calming amino acid found in green tea and mushrooms — plus 20 mg of magnesium, a multitasking mineral that supports hundreds of cellular processes, including nerve function and relaxation.
Lemme Sleep also combines a blend of natural herbs for sleep support; including chamomile, lavender and elderberry. According to the brand, “these botanicals work alongside our other key ingredients for dreamy benefits.”
I’m not the only one who has noticed the benefits, and like many other reviewers, I suspect it’s the carefully crafted combo of ingredients that makes these gummies actually work.
“I’ve tried several melatonin products before, but this one really impressed me. The formula includes melatonin and magnesium, which seems to work much better than melatonin alone,” one shopper shared. “The effect felt natural — calm and sleepy without feeling groggy or heavy.”
Since I started taking Lemme Sleep, my Oura Ring Sleep Scores have been trending up, and I actually feel more energized during the day. Now, I can admit that my melatonin-phobia wasn’t about the ingredient itself, but the formula and dosage. Lemme Sleep gets both just right.
Lemme Chill packs a clinically-studied dose of KSM-66 Ashwagandha to curb fight stress and support relaxation.
These pineapple-flavored gummies are formulated to support vaginal health, freshness, odor and healthy pH levels with clinically-studied probiotic strain SNZ-1969.
Lemme Relax focuses on nervous system and cortisol support with highly absorbable magnesium glycinate and citrate.
