Sharon Stone names the ‘best kisser’ in Hollywood: ‘Kissed me out of my shoes’

The actress dubbed her “Casino” co-star Robert De Niro “the best kisser in the business” on SiriusXM’s “Radio Andy” Wednesday.

The 68-year-old sighed and closed her eyes at the memory of De Niro kissing her “right out of [her] shoes” in the 1995 crime thriller.

“We did this scene where I have to go to the bathroom, and because I play this hustler, I get him to give me money to go,” Stone explained to listeners of playing Ginger McKenna.

“He gives me this money and I look at him like, ‘Really? I think a little more than $50 for the bathroom,’” she recounted. “And he … reaches in and he gives me, like, $100, and then I lean over and I kiss him.”

After De Niro, 82, “knocked [her] out” with the kiss, director Martin Scorsese told the duo he got the shot — but still offered them another take.

Stone quipped, “We both looked at him and went, ‘Yeah, I think maybe we need one more.'”

Her gushing comments come six years after the first time she reminisced on the smooch during “Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen.”

In the 2020 sitdown, Stone called the “Godfather” star “for sure” and “far and away the best kisser” in Hollywood.

Stone speculated at the time that the “Casino” scene “was the pinnacle” of onscreen kissing moments because she held De Niro “in such extraordinary high regard.”

She noted, “It was [with] the actor that I admired the most. And my whole career … I just wanted to be able to sit across the table from Robert De Niro and hold my own.

“There was just so much attached to it, but I was just so madly in love with him,” Stone continued. “He probably could have hit me in the head with a hammer and I would have been like, ‘Oh yeah!’”

As for the worst kiss in her career, Stone refused to spill the beans during the sitdown.

However, she quipped, “[De Niro] was pretty fabulous so I don’t know that I could compare anything else. … Everything else was kind of like, meh.”

Smooching aside, Stone opened up to Business Insider last year about how De Niro “crossed a line” and “challenged” her during a “Casino” scene to get the best performance out of her.

“He knew every button to go for with me because he is the greatest observational actor,” she recalled. “He can crawl under your skin and get in there.”

De Niro, for his part, has not publicly commented on Stone’s rave reviews of his kissing skills over the years.
