CloseStudents protests in France have entered their fourth week and with a renewed impetus, according to the BBC's James Waterhouse.

The nationwide demonstrations against poor classroom conditions, including old buildings, teacher shortages and overcrowded classrooms, have caused disruption to education across France as hundreds of lycées (15-18 year-olds colleges) had to be closed.

Students on the streets of Paris told the BBC that they had not achieved anything yet and that stopping now would be a "defeat".
