A suburban Illinois mother allegedly executed the father of her children while giving him a surprise back massage — with a pistol to his head — then gunned down his mother and stepfather, according to reports and authorities.
Jenna Strouble, 30, allegedly killed 32-year-old Jacob Lambert at point-blank range in the back seat of her car before speeding off to his parents’ home to fatally shoot Patrick and Stacy Forde on March 22, according to the Will County Sheriff’s Office.
Strouble told deputies after she went on the killing spree that she did not like the way Lambert spoke to her children and that she felt his parents are “overbearing,” according to court documents obtained by WBBM.
The mother confessed that she had surprised Lambert — the father of her two young children, with whom she has an “occasional intimate relationship” — with a back massage after he agreed to go out for a joyride in the suburbs of Chicago, documents alleged.
She then explained that “she climbed on his back in a straddling position and massaged him for approximately 20 minutes” as he lay on his stomach in the reclined passenger seat.
Strouble grabbed a “Glock 19 fitted with a suppressor,” which she hid under the seat and held to the back of his head for eight minutes before pulling the trigger, investigators added.
She then drove the car to his parents’ home in Crete Township — firing 17 bullets into Patrick Forde after he opened the door, Fox 32 reported.
As Stacy Forde walked down the stairs, Strouble allegedly fatally shot her three times in the chest and abdomen, the outlet said.
Strouble then fled to her hometown of St. John, Indiana, where she was nabbed by police. Officers found the Glock 19 that matched the one used to kill Lambert and the Fordes, cops said.
She was slated to appear in court on Tuesday after authorities hit her with nine counts of first-degree murder, the outlet reported.
