Stewart Copeland recently announced he’s striking out on a summer 2026 spoken word tour that he’s dubbed ‘Have I Said Too Much – The Police, Hollywood, and Other Adventures.’
That includes a trio of New York and New Jersey gigs for the legendary drummer. They’re scheduled to take place at:

At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on seats for any one show was $52 including fees on StubHub.
For those hoping to attend one of the evenings with Copeland in New York or New Jersey, prices start at $62 including fees for his July 14 gig at The Paramount.
According to a press release, the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer will dole out a 90-minute “evening of conversation with photos, videos, and a Q&A” at all shows. As expected, he’ll chat about his 1977-86 tenure in The Police along with other career highlights as a performer, musician, entertainer, and writer.
Personally, we hope he talks at length about composing the “Good Burger” and “She’s All That” scores but that’s just us.
“Come along. I promise to say more than I should,” the 73-year-old Virginia native shared on Instagram in a video teasing stories about classic Police tracks “Every Breath You Take,” “Message In A Bottle,” “Bring On The Night,” “Roxanne,” “Walking On The Moon” and more.
And, based on reports from past shows, seeing Copeland live is a blast.
“He held court with photo footage about his journey from Arabic-influenced beginnings through reggae to punk and beyond, with endless colourful stories of his influences as a diplomat’s kid (‘diplo-brat’) soaking in vibrant culture wherever he found it,” Libel Music reported about a January 2026 night in Auckland. “He sounds like he was precocious and surrounded with adventure, and he tells a tale musician-style, where you scat what you mean rather than use words, like a second language.”

Copeland isn’t the only former member of the force on patrol this year.
Sting has concerts lined up from May through November at venues all over North America and Spain.
As of now, he doesn’t have any gigs in New York in the books but he will get close when he performs back-to-back-to-back nights at Vienna, VA’s Filene Center at Wolf Trap on May 21-23.
