A female passenger stuck her bare feet into a globetrotting couples' space. It was a real pedi crime.
A UK influencer couple were shocked and revulsed after a “feral” passenger stuck their bare feet into their space during a flight across Thailand, as seen in a viral video.
“We were just disgusted and couldn’t believe this was actually happening,” Jess Jones told Kennedy News of the tootsie intrusion.
She and partner Mosey, who run the @moseyandjesseats food and travel account on Instagram and TikTok, were flying from Chiang Mai to Surat Thani on March 22 during a two-week backpacking tour of the Land of Smiles.
The Brits’ trip went south after they saw the passenger in front of them sticking her sockless trotters through the gap between their seat and the cabin wall — so it was almost touching their tray table.
“We just sat on the plane and Jess saw the foot coming through the side,” recalled Mosey, 30, from Wirral, Merseyside. “They were two proper hippies, she was lying down on his lap and her foot started coming through.”
He thought the rude act was especially unnecessary as the flight was only two hours long.
“If you’re on a longer flight and you have a row to yourself obviously, you’re going to lie down,” the Brit declared. “But don’t start putting your feet up.”
His partner seconded his revulsion. “It definitely shouldn’t be allowed,” said Jess, 31. “People eat there and I think it’s really bad to do that. Keep it to your section.”
She said they took out their phones in case the situation deteriorated.
They ended up filming the “visually gross” space invasion and uploading the foot-age to social media.
“Never felt so horrified on a flight before, this was like a horror film,” the globetrotters wrote in the caption. “How are there actual grown adults who think this is acceptable?”
Not content to sit idly by, Mosey said he pondered tickling the tootsies so the space invader would retract them, but decided against it as Jess was “worried I would cause an issue.”
They ultimately decided to let creeping “dogs” lie. “No one really walked past, so we didn’t know what to do, so we decided to leave it,” the passenger said.
Jess said the predicament ultimately “reminded us that we need anti-bacterial wipes on everything you touch on an airplane.”
Traveling has unfortunately become a real nightmare at 30,000 “feet.”
During a similar infraction earlier this week, a first-class passenger was put on blast for using their neighbor’s seat as a footrest.
“First time experiencing the feet in my face in 5 years,” the victim revealed on Reddit, adding that they were quick to shove the intruding toes off their armrest.
