Hold Onto Your Butts: ‘Summer House’ Stars Amanda Batula And West Wilson Confirm Their Taboo Romance, Setting Off Seismic Sh*tstorm ‘Summer House’ Shocker: Kyle Cooke Calls Amanda Batula A “F***ing Dumb*** B****” Simply For Having Fun Without Him ‘Summer House’: How Much Did The Cartier Watch Kyle Cooke Gifted Amanda Batula Cost? Now that the cat is out of the bag about Amanda Batula and West Wilson‘s new romance, their interactions throughout the rest of Summer House Season 10 will be closely examined by us Bravoholics … starting with tonight’s episode, in which Batula’s then-husband Kyle Cooke accuses them of “flirting” with each other.
The episode picks up the day after Cooke’s unwarranted blowup on Batula for spending more time with their housemates than with him. While the couple pushes aside their drama to celebrate Cooke’s birthday, the rest of their friends have a harder time moving past their shocking argument. Ciara Miller tells Batula that she doesn’t deserve to be spoken to with such disrespect and suggests that they take some time apart from each other, while Wilson urges Cooke to apologize to his wife.
After getting scolded by Wilson, Cooke accuses Batula of “flirting” with the sports journalist and Jesse Solomon. “I know they mean well, but if they really meant well, they’d also maybe say something to Amanda like, ‘Hey, while you’re giving us all the attention, and we’re flirting, and we’re playing games…’ Maybe just maybe at one point in the last month, could they have been like, ‘Hey, maybe give your husband a little attention,'” Cooke says in his confessional.
This episode was filmed in August 2025, and it wasn’t until November 2025 that Batula and Cooke officially separated. But is there a chance that Batula and Wilson’s feelings for one another could have started earlier? Cooke, while unhinged in his delivery, certainly seemed to be onto them last summer. While he’s attributed much of his downward spiral to the troubles surrounding Loverboy, it also seems like Cooke is not only coming to terms with the fact that his marriage is over, but with the fact that his wife might have an interest in one of his close friends. I’m not here to defend Kyle Cooke by any means … but, knowing what we know now, it does make one wonder.
The rumors started weeks ago with an anonymous tip sent to Deuxmoi, a celebrity gossip account on Instagram. Cooke, at the time, said he didn’t think there was any merit to the claims that his estranged wife and his close friend had been hooking up — but also said that if they were, he would have no choice but to be happy for them. The chatter sort of dimmed down after that, but it was reignited again this week when Batula and Miller, who previously dated Wilson, bailed on doing a scheduled livestream together. The other Summer House stars then began posting memes of themselves with shocked and/or disappointed faces on their Instagram Stories, cryptically hinting at the rumors and an alleged feud between Miller and Batula. Even Southern Charm star (and Miller’s other ex) Austen Kroll weighed in on the discourse, writing, “Pasta and f*** your friends’ exes are apparently so back.”
With all the online gossip, Batula and Wilson had no choice but to release a statement today confirming their romance. “We’ve shown up for each other as friends over the years, through all the highs and lows, and what’s developed recently was the last thing either of us expected,” they wrote in a statement. “Our connection grew out of a genuine long-standing friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach this with care. As our feelings evolved, we wanted to take time to understand exactly what we were feeling. We also recognize that this has had an impact beyond just us and never wanted our actions to cause any hurt or be perceived as careless.”
While we don’t know exactly how “recently” this relationship began, Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy claimed it was “old news” that he has known about since the Super Bowl, which took place on Feb. 8. The Summer House Season 10 reunion is sure to clarify some of these timelines, but in the meantime, I think it’s safe to guess that—even if they weren’t yet hooking up last summer—the feelings were clearly there.
Summer House airs Tuesday nights at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo. New episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock.
