My whole team lost it over one pan in Slack today — and it’s 40% off

New York Post As a former private chef, I have opinions about carbon steel. I have tested more meal delivery services than I care to disclose. And yet, earlier today, I watched my entire team light up a Slack channel during Amazon’s Big Spring Sale with the kind of enthusiasm typically reserved for breaking news, and it was about a pan I’ve yet to test.

“I cook all the time, always always, and have an expensive Le Creuset (that we got given for our wedding!), but my Our Place pan has replaced almost everything else.”

This is a…pretty remarkable claim. Le Creuset is the kind of cookware people register for at weddings and then guard for decades. The Always Pan replacing it would be like someone saying their $60 supermarket wine has edged out the vintage Bordeaux they’ve been saving. And yet, nobody in the chat laughed at what I assumed was hyperbole.

“One of my fave things about Always Pan is the height… you can do so much in there because of how high those walls go.”

Unlike traditional nonstick pans, the Titanium Always Pan Pro achieves its nonstick effect through a patented titanium surface that’s constructed rather than coated — no PFAS, no forever chemicals.

It handles everything from delicate fried eggs to hard sears, and at 1.5 inches deeper than a standard fry pan, it pulls double duty as a skillet, saucier and more.

And then Georgie Olmeda, our Commerce Partnerships Manager, chimed in: it’s her favorite pan not just to cook in but to reheat in, because, as she put it, “you can dump a ton of leftovers in there and the walls keep it in *clapping emoji*.”

Victoria McDonnell, our Commerce & Content Strategist Reporter, then added that she particularly appreciates the spoon rest holder and the little divot designed for pouring from pot to bowl.

“I really appreciate the spoon rest holder and the little divot to pour from pot to bowl.”

“I find it genius,” she continued. “It’s the little things,” Georgie mused in return.

This is the brand’s most approachable entry point. The iconic Always Pan 2.0 and the 5.5-quart Perfect Pot together in one set, covering everything from a quick weeknight sauté to a low-and-slow braise. Both pieces feature Thermakind ceramic nonstick coating, are oven-safe up to 450 degrees Fahrenheit, and work across all cooktops, including induction.

As a kitchen tool snob, the Always Pan’s pitch (that it replaces eight pieces of cookware) always struck me as marketing copy that was likely to sound better than it could actually perform. But my team’s endorsement of this one pan set, remarkably unprompted and unscripted, has me questioning what I thought was my better judgment. Turns out, it was just some good, ol’ fashioned “I’m better” judgment, which I’m not proud of.

Adam Schubini, our Senior Manager of Growth, bought his because Selena Gomez “told him to” when she collaborated with Our Place. He now owns three, which feels excessive aspirational.

“I am currently in the process of getting my Always Pan replaced and the customer service has been wonderful.”

Frank chipped his on the first cook. They’re replacing it, no questions asked. “They really are great about replacing!” Erica Radol, Page Six’s Commerce Reporter, responded before going in.

“I love that everyone loves these as much as me! I have the Always Pan (and want the smaller one), the Dream Cooker, Wonder Oven, and some accessories. The appliances are fire!”

The Our Place Splendor Blender is a powerful, space-saving countertop essential that combines a high-performance 1000-watt motor with a sleek, easy-to-clean design to whip up everything from silky smoothies to smooth sauces.

Virtually the whole Our Place lineup is on sale for one final day during Amazon’s Big Spring Sale. Our Senior Editorial Director, Barret Wertz, who oversees the commerce desk, owns Our Place dishware, and called it *chef’s kiss*, noted that he “did not expect this much attention” on a single brand from the entire team. Neither did I, Barret.

I have since added the Always Pan to my cart in the name of journalism.

The Mini Titanium Perfect Pot Pro’s nonstick effect isn’t a coating, but constructed directly into an ultra-hardened titanium interior using patented NoCo technology that mimics the lotus effect, making the surface naturally hydrophobic and completely free of forever chemicals.

This dual-function pan pulls double duty as both a sheet pan and a stovetop griddle that spans two burners, with a toxin-free ceramic nonstick surface free from PFAS, PTFEs, PFOAs, lead, and cadmium.

The 18-piece Ultimate Cookware Set includes the Always Pan 2.0, Perfect Pot, their mini counterparts, and a five-piece bakeware set.

This beginner-friendly fry pan trio comes with three versatile pans and two modular storage racks, all finished in Our Place’s Thermakind ceramic nonstick coating, which is free from PFAS, PFOA, lead, and cadmium.

A versatile, non-stick ceramic set designed to seamlessly transition from roasting and baking in your Wonder Oven to serving elegantly at the table.

This annual Amazon Spring Sale offers deep discounts on bestsellers and everyday essentials. The seasonality of the sale makes it prime (pun intended) for savings on outdoor products, spring cleaning needs, tools and home essentials, plus all the great discounts you’ve come to expect from a Prime Day-like event.

Amazon’s Big Spring Sale is a marathon compared to the retailer’s shorter deal events. Shoppers can take advantage of seasonal discounts running from Wednesday, March 25 through Tuesday, March 31.

Unlike Prime Day in July, this event is open to everyone who shops on Amazon. However interested shoppers can grab a 30-day free trial to try Prime, and its many benefits with no strings attached, and gain access to exclusive deals, special “Prime” badges on select items and the added convenience of fast, free shipping.

From reporting on Amazon sales for years, we can tell you for certain that Big Spring Sale is the ideal period to stock up on household essentials, refill your skincare empties, save on the best vacuums to save your spring cleaning projects, and comb through the massive catalog of Amazon best-sellers.

We certainly think so! Big Spring Sale is a great chance to score deals on thousands of best-sellers, seasonal favorites, big-ticket tech and appliances and every day essentials. Our team diligently sorts through all the offers to find you the very best items to grab on sale.

Already wondering when Amazon’s next Prime Day is? Prime Day takes place in July each year, so it’s safe to assume it will take place in mid-July 2026 — similar to previous years.
