Tom Brady moves on from well known publicist who’s embroiled in Blake Lively-Justin Baldoni drama

Multiple sources tell P6H that Brady doesn’t have a current personal PR rep anymore after parting ways with Stephanie Jones of Jonesworks. Said an insider: “He’s no longer with Stephanie.” Another source told us that Brady had been meeting with a number of other top PR people over the summer.

We hear that Brady has instead taken a more hands-on approach. A source familiar with the star added: “Tom handles everything in house with a small team.” Another source said that Brady has “started a family office,” and also has Fox Sports, where he’s a lead football analyst.

Tom Brady attends UFC 326. Zuffa LLC Brady has certainly been in the news both with his personal life — allegedly briefly dating influencer Alix Earle and then Scooter Braun‘s ex, Yael Cohen, we exclusively reported — as well as professionally. He took the field again for the Fanatics Flag Football Classic in LA this month, and has invested in a new flag football league (more on that later in this newsletter).

According to LinkedIn, Brady hired Jones’ former chief of staff — and onetime executive assistant — Emily Mara as a full-time director of operations in November 2025. Mara also worked for crisis PR whiz Matthew Hiltzik and was chief of staff at Ethos Group, though multiple sources tell us she’s not doing Brady’s PR either.)

An insider tells us that WME is still doing deals for the seven-time Super Bowl winner. (Brady’s WME rep is Jones’ husband, Jason Hodes.)

Brady is not listed as being repped by Jonesworks on IMDBPro or Celebrity Service. But there’s still an image of the star on Jonesworks’ site.

Brady’s alleged departure from Jonesworks comes at the same time Jones has been embroiled in the Justin Baldoni-Blake Lively legal mess. Her company repped “It Ends With Us” co-star Baldoni and his company, Wayfarer Studios, while a Jonesworks partner, Jen Abel, handled the account. It’s hard to keep track of all the fast-and-furious lawsuits still flying from the legal drama: Baldoni, Wayfarer and Abel filed suit against Jones, which a judge ruled last week can go ahead, while Jones is suing Baldoni, Abel and Baldoni’s crisis PR rep, Melissa Nathan. Among other legal actions, Lively’s suing Baldoni and Wayfarer.

Back in June of 2025, Puck’s Matt Belloni pointed out in his newsletter that Brady was sans Jones at a couple public appearances, and multiple sources told him at the time, “Brady effectively ended his years-long professional relationship with Jones a couple months ago,” or around the time the Baldoni suit blew up. But Jones (and a trio of cc’d lawyers) denied it at the time, Belloni reported.

Talk of a Brady/Jones split has surfaced again and is the talk of the town.

Some sources are calling the chatter sour grapes over the Baldoni blowback. A source insisted to us it’s not true that Jones is off team Tom, saying the PR whiz is “still working with Brady across various joint ventures and marketing and PR for partners.” They’re both investors in sports apparel brand NOBULL.
