Type-A meets tiny pantry: 11 top Wayfair kitchen organization items

New York Post Composite If there’s one thing you should know about me, it’s that I’m aggressively, unapologetically Type-A.

I alphabetize spices for fun. I decant snacks like it’s an Olympic sport. I have strong opinions about matching hangers. And yet — despite my color-coded dreams and label-maker confidence — my closet-sized pantry has recently decided to humble me.

Between my regularly scheduled restocks from Thrive Market and the fact that Wegmans is literally one block away (and yes, it is my second home; if I’m ever missing, please check the produce aisle), my pantry has become a revolving door of snacks, grains, sauces and just-in-case backups. I love having everything on hand.

Here’s what I don’t love: playing pantry Jenga every time I need quinoa. But that’s where Wayfair comes in.

For a while, I convinced myself it was “organized chaos” (you know, the kind where you swear you know exactly where everything is, but somehow you’re still digging behind six cans of chickpeas to find the balsamic vinegar). Turns out, even the most Type-A among us need systems that evolve with our grocery habits. And when your pantry is roughly the size of a generous coat closet, every inch matters.

That’s where smart storage comes in. And with spring cleaning time just a few weeks away, there’s no better time to start organizing. Take it from me, you don’t always have to fully revamp your home to have a style refresh. You just need to be intentional and having everything in its right place is the easiest (and most affordable) way to start.

In this guide, I’m sharing the best pantry organization finds and space-saving hacks from Wayfair that will help maximize every shelf and corner. Whether you’re working with a tiny pantry like mine or just want to upgrade your current setup, these solutions are about to save you time, stress and at least three unnecessary trips to Wegmans. Let’s get organized—Type-A style.

OK, this needs to be ordered. Far gone are the days of taking out your way-too-big rice canister from the pantry. After spending about an hour hunting for the perfect one this week (yes, I know, that’s a glimpse into my evenings), this one is most ideal because it measures just under 12 inches, so it should fit in the smallest of pantries.

Plus, I love how it includes the measuring cup for a one-touch, no-scoop procedure every time you want to boil some rice.

Though somewhat of an investment, you need some storage for your onions, potatoes and even some leftover canned goods you don’t have a place for. What’s great about these is their solid wood material. Oh, and because they’re not wired, the onion peels won’t make a mess inside your pantry. Life hack.

Of course, you need some airtight containers to keep all of your pantry goods fresh. These are my favorites from OXO and, honestly, I kind of need to order more.

Sometimes, all of the clunky wine bottles and olive oil bottles take up unnecessary space. This acrylic organizer is perfect for either the pantry or fridge, saving your countertop for actual appliances.

For vitamins, condiments and random odds and ends, this lazy Susan helps keep everything visible and accessible.

I love my white wired bins for my pantry to keep everything organized and in a neat in a row. Right now, this set of four is on an epic Wayfair sale.

Over-the-door storage is simply foolproof for a small pantry, and this one helps you easily display your sauces, spreads, jams and spices, saving space on your actual pantry shelves. Win-win.

To be honest, cereal boxes are a small pantry’s worst enemies. This space-saving dispenser can store oats, cereals and granolas — and can either be mounted to your wall or door.

Simple and affordable, these bins are great for just about anything — but especially perfect for storing smaller items like K-pods and granola bars.

If you prefer seeing all of your can labels, this 3-tier organizer is the real deal. Not to mention, YouCopia is one of my favorite brands for fridge organization and its products hold up well.

Perhaps your pantry is *too* small (have no fear!) This rolling cart is an ideal solution for anywhere in your kitchen or even in your spare closet or garage.
