NeuraNews Network Is Looking for Journalists, Storytellers, and Community Voices. Is That You?

The news has always belonged to the people living it. NeuraNews Network is building the platform where they can tell it — without surveillance, without algorithms, and without giving away their work for free.

I have spent the last three years building NeuraWeb from the ground up in Cape Coral, Florida. Twelve applications in production. Twenty-three million property records. A geographic database covering 261 million road and boundary lines. A point-of-sale system running real transactions. A veteran honor roll with 14.4 million permanent records.

But the piece I think about most — the one that keeps me up at night in the best possible way — is the one you are reading right now.

NeuraNews Network is not a news aggregator with a privacy coat of paint. It is a journalism platform built on the conviction that the people closest to a story are the ones best equipped to tell it. The farmers in Charlotte County who watch the water levels every morning. The teachers in Lee County who see what is happening in classrooms before any policy maker does. The veterans in every zip code in Southwest Florida who know things about this community that never make it into the paper. The small business owners, the coaches, the nurses, the neighbors.

Those people are not sources. They are journalists. They just have not had a platform that treated them that way.

NeuraNews Network does.

When you submit a story to NeuraNews Network, it goes through an editorial review process overseen by our News Director, Brian Freeman (brianfreemanonair.nw). Brian brings decades of broadcast journalism experience to every submission. He is not looking for perfect prose. He is looking for truth, for sourcing, for stories that matter to real people in real places. If your story has that, it has a home here.

What NeuraNews Network offers contributors is something no mainstream platform offers: your byline on your work, your identity on a platform that will never sell it, your story reaching readers without an algorithm deciding whether it deserves to be seen, and — as the platform's revenue model matures — a share of the value your work creates. You are not content. You are a journalist. There is a difference, and NeuraNews Network is built around it.

We are looking for voices from every corner of Southwest Florida and beyond. Local government reporters. Business journalists. Sports writers. Community columnists. Investigative reporters with a story that deserves more than a Facebook post. Opinion writers who have something to say and the intellectual honesty to stand behind it with their real name and their real .nw identity.

We are also looking for working journalists — staff writers, freelancers, broadcast veterans — who are tired of watching their work get buried under algorithmic noise, their bylines stripped for SEO, and their investigative pieces killed because they made the wrong advertiser uncomfortable. NeuraNews Network has no advertisers to protect. No algorithm to feed. No surveillance infrastructure to maintain. Just stories, editors, and readers.

The submit form is at neuraweb.io/nnn.nw/submit. You will need a NeuraWeb account and a .nw identity — both free, both permanent, both yours. Claim your identity at neuraweb.io/une.nw and submit your first story. Brian will take it from there.

The internet was built to connect people. Somewhere along the way it became a machine for extracting value from them instead. NeuraNews Network is one part of taking it back — the part where the people who live the news get to tell it.

We are just getting started. Come help us build it.

S. Vincent Anthony is the founder, Chairman, and CEO of NeuraWeb Global Inc., headquartered in Cape Coral, Florida. NeuraNews Network is accessible at neuraweb.io/nnn.nw.
