That distinction matters. Competition accepts the existing framework and tries to do better within it. Replacement rejects the framework and builds a different one from scratch. NeuraWeb is a replacement — for surveillance capitalism, for fragmented identity, for the extractive economics that have defined the internet since the first banner ad was sold in 1994.
awaken.nw is the fullest public expression of that replacement vision. The conventional wisdom was wrong about the telegraph too. And the telephone. And the television. Every communications technology that preceded the internet was eventually disrupted by a successor that offered users something the incumbent could not: more control, more privacy, more ownership, more value returned to the people generating it. The internet will not be an exception. The only question is what the successor looks like and who builds it.

Your data is yours. Your value belongs to you. The platform's job is to make those things true in code, not just in policy.
