Two gripping, addictive shows return to streaming this week: All ten episodes of Netflix’s The Night Agent will arrived on Thursday, and the season two premiere of Apple TV’s The Last Thing He Told Me starring Jennifer Garner arrives on Friday. You can also catch the season two premiere of the great hidden gem Dreaming Whilst Black, a BAFTA-nominated British comedy that drops on Paramount+ Premium this Friday.
The latest season of Netflix’s The Night Agent, starring Gabriel Basso, is out now. All ten episodes of the spy thriller are available, and this time around, Basso’s Peter Sutherland is globe-hopping from Istanbul to Mexico to Washington D.C. to uncover a government conspiracy that, shocker, leads to the White House.
In season one of The Last Thing He Told Me, we met Hannah (Jennifer Garner), a woman dealing with the sudden, mysterious disappearance of her husband Owen (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau). In season two, Owen shows up after five years, forcing their family to figure out if they can ever return to normal. The show also co-stars Angourie Rice, David Morse and, this season, it reunites Garner with her 13 Going on 30 co-star Judy Greer who is new to the cast.
The British comedy series Dreaming Whilst Black was written by and stars Adjani Salmon as Kwabena, an aspiring filmmaker. Season two, which premieres this Friday, follows Kwabena as he gets his first big break directing a TV series. New episodes of the six-episode season will air weekly on Fridays on Paramount+ Premium.
