Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) shares were in focus Thursday after top analyst Dan Ives argued that the company's artificial intelligence push could add about $75 a share to its valuation.
Ives sees AI becoming a broader driver for Apple's hardware and services businesses. He estimates AI-related revenue could eventually represent more than 15% of Services revenue as the company integrates the technology across its devices and ecosystem.

The analyst also pointed to a potentially large upgrade opportunity. About 375 million iPhones have gone at least four years without an upgrade, creating a sizable pool of users who could replace older devices as Apple expands its AI capabilities.
Ives expects the iPhone 18 cycle to support demand over the coming quarters. He also sees the foldable iPhone Duo as another potential catalyst, projecting roughly 10 million units over the next several quarters.
Ives maintains an Outperform rating and a $400 price target on Apple. His view is that AI could support both higher device demand and additional monetization from services.
