Boy, 15, shot dead by stray bullet outside NYC housing complex: cops, sources

Make New York Post a Preferred Source A 15-year-old boy was fatally shot and a NYCHA worker wounded by a stray bullet in a Wednesday evening burst of violence on the grounds of a Harlem housing complex, cops and sources said.

Jihad Pack took a bullet to the stomach around 6:20 p.m. in the rear of the King Towers building on West 115th Street near Malcolm X Boulevard where he lived, according to police.

The gravely injured teen was rushed to Mount Sinai Morningside, where he later succumbed to his injuries, authorities said.

FNTV A 57-year-old man – who law enforcement sources identified as a worker for the New York City Housing Authority – was shot in the right hand during the fracas, police said.

He was taken to Harlem Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition, cops said.

Another 15-year-old boy was taken into custody at the scene, but it wasn’t immediately clear if he was the shooter, according to the sources.

The motive for the deadly violence remained under investigation Thursday.
