Pop culture festival ComplexCon will return to Hong Kong for its third edition on March 21 and 22, with headliners including Jennie from K-pop powerhouse Blackpink and American rapper Yeat, making his Asian debut.
With home-grown designer Kasing Lung – the creator of Labubu – as its artistic director this year, the convention at AsiaWorld-Expo will feature an array of booths, where attendees can shop for streetwear, art, sports items and food.
The 54th edition of the Hong Kong Arts Festival, which began in late February, has also brought over 1,100 shows to the city, including Tchaikovsky’s opera Eugene Onegin and Dvorak’s choral masterpiece Requiem, performed by the Czech Republic’s National Theatre Brno.
Other performers at the festival include Ballet Nacional de Espana, Suzhou Song and Dance Theatre from mainland China, string quartet Novus from South Korea and home-grown pianist Aristo Sham. The festival will conclude on March 30.
