Moment California McDonald’s worker is gunned down inside store after shooting female colleague

Make California Post a Preferred Source This is the moment a California McDonald’s employee was fatally gunned down by cops after he shot and injured a coworker.

Officers from the Lodi Police Department responded to the store around 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 24 after receiving a report of an armed person in a storage area at the back of the restaurant.

Footage from inside the business shows the man, identified as Jonhatan Anguiano, armed with a gun alongside two coworkers.

Anguiano is seen pulling a gun from his backpack and firing toward the ceiling.

The two employees continued speaking with Anguiano as 911 was called. When officers arrived at the McDonald’s, they began evacuating employees through the back entrance.

They heard gunshots and learned that one employee had been shot.

As the injured employee laid on the floor, an officer approached and opened fire on Anguiano, striking him.

Following the shooting, police called emergency crews to the scene, where Anguiano was pronounced dead.

The employee injured by Anguiano was taken to a local hospital and later released to recover from her injuries.

She was initially placed on paid leave and has since returned to work.

Police have not yet identified a motive for Anguiano’s actions, and the incident remains under investigation.

Lodi is a city in San Joaquin County, located about 35 miles south of Sacramento.

The California Post reached out to the Lodi Police Department for updates on whether a motive has been identified, but did not immediately hear back.
