CoreWeave Can Raise Prices Twice in Three Months. Can It Afford to Keep Building? CoreWeave Inc. (NASDAQ:CRWV) has raised per-hour GPU prices twice, first by 25% across all products in July 2026 and then by another 10% over the past two to three months. UBS analyst Karl Keirstead sees the pricing gains as evidence that demand in the AI infrastructure market remains strong. However, such rapid growth comes with a heavy funding requirement. CRWV ranks No. 4 among our 11 AI Stocks That Will Go to the Moon. You won't want to miss the three stocks that claimed the top spots.

Analyst Karl Keirstead says the industry is seeing higher hosted Nvidia GPU prices and improving revenue per gigawatt of capacity. This supports a key part of the bull thesis, but their impact will take time to show up in financial statements. The fact that prices have increased twice within a few months suggests customers are willing to pay higher rates.

UBS also identifies local and state opposition to data centers, along with the cost and availability of capital, as risks. Its checks indicate that some projects may fade, but better-positioned companies such as CoreWeave should remain in a strong position. The company is gaining pricing power, but you may be surprised by how its valuation compares with a key peer.

CoreWeave's market capitalization represents approximately 3.84x forward sales, but that figure excludes its substantial debt obligations. The debt picture changes that view. With approximately $35.1 billion in debt, $16.3 billion in operating lease liabilities, and $5.5 billion in cash, the company's enterprise value reaches $94.23 billion, nearly double its $48.20 billion market cap. That puts its valuation at 7.42x forward sales.

This is where the recent pricing increases become important. Together, they raise hourly pricing by about 37.5%. Any portion of that increase that flows through to sales would lower enterprise-value-to-sales multiple, assuming enterprise value remains unchanged. However, the news does not specify how much of the business is covered by the new pricing.

UBS believes CoreWeave is well positioned from a funding standpoint, but its large debt load leaves little room if financing conditions tighten. In my view, pricing power strengthens the story, but investors are still betting that higher prices persist and funding remains available.

According to our database, the number of hedge funds holding the stock rose from 63 at the end of Q1 2026 to 71 at the end of Q2 2026. Short interest remained elevated at 17.64% as of September 15, 2026.

The price increases point to real demand, but the heavy debt load and higher short interest mean the stock still depends on pricing strength holding up and capital remaining available.
