Bandits swiped a jaw-dropping $50,000 worth of walnuts from two trucks parked in the Bronx — baffling state police, who want food-world folks to help them catch the crooks.
The nutty heist began on March 2, when the thieves stole the 60,000-pound haul of shelled nuts, stored in pallets, from two trailers parked in Hunts Point, according to police.
Cops believe the snack-snatching suspects will soon try to sell the walnuts to third-party vendors, wholesalers or distributors in the New York City area, according to state police.

It wasn’t immediately clear how the crooks got into the trucks, or when exactly the robbery unfolded.
