The vein system now covers an area of about 400 by 450 meters, with newly identified veins extending beyond the area tested by previous drilling, the company said. Mineralization is interpreted to extend to at least 330 meters below surface.

Margaritas is part of the company's Güíntar-Alemán-Margaritas project and sits roughly 4 kilometers south of the Güíntar porphyry discovery.

A single earlier drilling program of four holes intersected multiple high-grade veins, including 4 meters at 631 grams per tonne silver, 0.47% antimony and 0.41 g/t gold. The company noted these are not true widths.

Rock-chip sampling of the newly identified veins returned up to 229 g/t silver from a historically mined vein, and 116 g/t silver with 1.75 g/t gold from an area of dense veining.

A large mineralized breccia boulder within the expanded footprint returned 475 g/t silver, 987 parts per million antimony and 0.9 g/t gold, suggesting a potential bedrock source nearby that has yet to be located.

Across 62 rock-chip samples, results ranged up to 475 g/t silver, 5.53 g/t gold and 4.59% zinc.

Mapping northeast of the drilled area also identified potassic alteration with disseminated pyrrhotite and elevated gold values. The company considers this a potential vector toward the source of a broader hydrothermal system and a possible porphyry target.

Drilling during the current campaign will test the expanded vein system along strike and at depth, including veins outside the previously drilled area, as well as the porphyry-style alteration.

"Our initial drilling at Margaritas demonstrated that the high-grade silver-gold-antimony veins are potentially significant. What has changed is our understanding of their scale," said Dr Tim Coughlin, Royal Road's CEO.

"Our next drilling will therefore test the scale and continuity of the high-grade veins while continuing to vector towards a possible additional porphyry target," Coughlin added.
