Make Page Six a Preferred Source Chet Hanks escalated his years-old feud with Eric André at ComplexCon over the weekend.
Tom Hanks’ son, 36, approached the comedian, 43, from behind at the Los ANgeles convention and tapped him on the shoulder, according to a video obtained by TMZ Tuesday.
While the “Eric André Show” host initially looked pleased to see Chet — holding out a hand and asking, “What’s up?” — the “Running Point” star did not return the shake.
He kept his hand on André’s shoulder as he spoke, leading the latter to ask, “What’d I say?”
Both men removed their glasses as the back-and-forth took a heated turn — and they persisted in shouting at each other as André’s security intervened and swept him away.
Chet subsequently detailed the interaction in an Instagram comment.
“Finally ran into @ericf–kingandre,” he wrote, mocking the actor for traveling with four security guards “because the environment makes him uneasy.”

Chet went on to reference his 2023 appearance on André’s show, which kicked off their feud, writing, “[He] had NO MEMORY WHATSOEVER of trashing me to the media after I outshined him on his show!!
“After being sheltered by his security team, [he] began foaming at the mouth and admitted it was because he had a problem with me ‘mocking Caribbean culture” when I did my Jamaican accent all those years ago,” Chet continued.
He concluded, “WHO KNEW that in addition to the brain rot and poop joke humor he is known for, Eric is also such a passionate cultural activist!!! Great running into you Eric!!!!!”
André’s rep did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
The “Man Seeking Woman” alum dubbed Chet “emotionally disturbed” in a 2023 Rolling Stone interview following their “dangerous” sitdown.
“He broke us down,” André explained to the outlet. “He stole a motorcycle and rode it around. He almost knocked a bunch of grips and gaffers off their ladders.”
Chet clapped back on social media with a video of the incident, writing that he wanted to match André’s “weird outlandish troll” energy on the show.
“At one point, he has a dude come and jump a dirt bike on the stage,” he recalled at the time. “He must not have known I ride dirt bikes because I picked that s–t up and start riding it around the set. Everybody’s like, ‘No, no, no, don’t do that. You could get hurt!’ I’m like, ‘Chill I just popped a little wheelie.’”
Chet remembered, “I put the bike down. Now he wants to come out and talk s–t about me? You must’ve just not liked the fact that I outshined you on your own f–king show.”
After Chet blasted him as a “f–king weirdo” and a “p–s,” André poked fun at the feud via Instagram.
“Guys, everything Chet said about me is a f–king boldface lie,” he told his followers. “F–king liar. And I dare him to take a f–king DNA test to prove that Tom Hanks is his f–king father.”
