When Was ‘Secret Lives Of Mormon Wives’ Reunion Filmed? ‘SLOMW’ Season 3 Reunion Details Demi Engemann has had a rough couple of seasons on The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.
While she initially declared herself the “fan-favorite” of the show, her stardom took a downward spiral in Season 2 amid tense contract negotiations, a brutal tirade against Jen Affleck, and an alleged affair with Marciano Brunette from Vanderpump Villa. In response to the cheating allegations, Demi has claimed she was sexually assaulted by Brunette, who has denied any wrongdoing and has since filed a defamation lawsuit against her, prompting her co-stars to question the validity of her story.
The women might’ve come together to speak their piece at the end of Season 3, but based on Jessi Draper outing the truth behind Demi’s Fruity Pebbles scandal, that peace is likely short-lived. Of course, eagle-eyed fans will also notice that Demi is not included in the opening credits and she doesn’t have any confessional interviews this season. So, does that mean she officially quit The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives? Keep reading for everything we know!
The short answer here is yes, Demi did quit MomTok and The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives in the middle of filming Season 4. But we could understand why there might be some confusion since she did appear in the first few episodes and was credited as a “friend of” this season.
Following the Season 3 finale’s Kumbaya, Demi is still hanging in and around the friend group, despite their decision to keep her at an arm’s length. She shares some solo scenes with Draper, during which she doubles down on her claims about Brunette, and she is also seen singing a “True Colors” cover with her husband in a recording studio. However, Demi is not included in the opening credits, nor does she have any confessional interviews because, per the producers, she declined to be interviewed this season.
After filming the tense Season 3 reunion in Episode 3, Demi states that she is taking a step back from the friend group. While there’s some brief chatter over her decision to sit with MomTok at Dancing with the Stars but not show up to film, the ladies eventually move on with their lives, leaving any conversation about Demi in the past.
It’s hard to say who Demi is still close with in MomTok. But based on Whitney Leavitt’s recent interview with Ziwe, it sounds like they are still good friends. Taylor Frankie Paul also showed Demi some support under a post about her fertility struggles, writing, “Mid cry while talking about mental health was FELT. ❤️🩹 hang in there.” Other than those two—and Scheana Shay, who isn’t in MomTok, but I digress—it’s been pretty radio silent as far as Demi goes.
