St. John’s road to March Madness continues today with the quarterfinal round of the Big East Tournament.

As regular season champions, the Red Storm captured the No. 1 seed in the conference tournament, which began yesterday, and received a bye directly into the quarterfinals. They’ll face No. 9 Providence this afternoon.

Yesterday, Providence overcame a 16-point deficit against Butler to advance into today’s quarterfinal.

The winner of today’s matchup advances to the March 13 semifinals.
