Nicole Kidman opened up about her and Keith Urban’s divorce for the first time since their September 2025 split.
“I’m always going to be moving toward what’s good,” the actress, 58, said in a Variety interview published Wednesday. “What I’m grateful for is my family and keeping them as is and moving forward. That’s that.
“Everything else I don’t discuss out of respect,” she continued. “I’m staying in a place of, ‘We are a family,’ and that’s what we’ll continue to be.”
She went on to praise her “darling” and “beautiful girls” — Sunday, 17, and Faith, 15 — who are suddenly women.”
Urban’s rep did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
Kidman’s separation from Urban, 58, made headlines in September 2025 after nearly two decades of marriage.

The following day, the “Big Little Lies” alum filed for divorce from the country singer, whom she wed in June 2006.
While Wednesday’s cover story marked Kidman’s first time addressing her breakup, she hinted at struggling emotionally in a conversation last year with Ariana Grande for Interview Magazine.
When asked how she was doing in the November 2025 sitdown, the Oscar winner replied, “Hanging in there.”
