Make New York Post a Preferred Source Harrowing dashcam video shows the fiery moments after a wrong-way driver narrowly missed one motorist – but slammed into another in Manhattan early Tuesday.

Footage obtained by The Post shows flames rising after the massive head-on collision on the Henry Hudson Parkway near Exit 13 and West 158th Street in Washington Heights at around 1:30 a.m.

The wrong-way motorist is seen lying on the ground after the smash-up, while the other driver struck in the crash remained trapped inside their vehicle, according to the witness who provided the footage.

The driver who avoided the crash jumped in to help remove the trapped motorist – who sustained serious injuries – from the wreckage.

Two civilians were taken to NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center, and two officers were taken to Harlem Hospital, according to the FDNY.
