‘Generous’ Jeff Lewis roasts ‘defensive’ Andy Cohen for texting famous friends about babysitter pay

Jeff Lewis is roasting a “defensive” Andy Cohen for his reaction to being called out over how much he pays his babysitter.

On Tuesday’s “Not Skinny But Not Fat” episode, the “Still Flipping Out” star, 56, poked fun at Cohen, 58, “texting Kelly Ripa and s–t” to find out what others were forking out.

“He was texting all his famous friends,” Lewis told podcast listeners. “He texted people, at least three people, live on the radio. This is such a big deal to him.”

The “Watch What Happens Live” host told Page Six as much last week.

“With my friends, [$30] is [the rate],” Cohen insisted to us on Sept. 30. “I checked with [them].”

As for whether he was considering paying more in the future, the Bravo executive said, “I’m talking about it with people.”

Lewis clarified Tuesday that he knew his boss “wasn’t going to be upset” about being called “cheap” in the viral “Andy Cohen Live” moment on Sept. 28.

However, Lewis roasted Cohen for still “want[ing] to prove that he wasn’t” shorting his sitter.

“That’s why he started texting his rich friends,” he explained. “That’s him. You call me cheap, I’m not texting anybody. I’m laughing about it. … It’s a little different. He sometimes gets a little defensive.”

At the time, Lewis said he would have paid a sitter $100 for the two hours and 15 minutes they watched Cohen’s kids — son Benjamin, 7, and daughter Lucy, 4.

Lewis, father of 9-year-old daughter Monroe, elaborated Tuesday on the “generous” amount he shells out for childcare.

The real estate speculator said he gives his child’s babysitter $37.50 per hour, as well as a “nice travel bonus” when she accompanies his family on trips.

Additionally, she receives more for foot massages.

“I’ve been giving her an extra $100 for a 30-minute foot massage to put me to sleep,” he explained. “She’s done three this week so far, so she’s made an extra $300.

“It’s good money,” Lewis continued. “Last night she tried to sneak out a little early and I go, ‘Oh, you forgot my calf.’ … So she came back.”
