‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ streaming release is here — How to watch at home

“Spider-Man: Brand New Day,” which had the largest opening weekend of all time after its release on July 31, is streaming now on Prime Video.

“Brand New Day” marks Tom Holland’s fourth time leading a “Spider-Man” film as Peter Parker / Spider-Man and his seventh overall. He returns alongside real-life wife Zendaya as MJ and Jacob Batalon completing their trio as Ned Leeds.

The film picks up in the immediate aftermath of 2021’s “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” as Peter Parker is forced to live in a world where everyone has forgotten he exists. As he stays dedicated to keeping New York City safe, a new telepathic threat emerges and his superpowers begin to evolve.

In his 3.5 (of 4) star review of the “much darker and more mature movie,” The Post and Page Six’s entertainment critic Johnny Oleksinski wrote that “raw and vulnerable Holland in particular does his best acting of the franchise” in the new installment.

“Spider-Man: Brand New Day” is streaming on-demand on platforms like Prime Video now! “Spider-Man: Brand New Day”s digital release date is today, Oct. 6.

“Spider-Man: Brand New Day” is available for digital purchase on Prime Video. The film costs $29.99 to buy or $24.99 to rent.

While you won’t have to be a paid Amazon Prime member to buy “Spider-Man: Brand New Day,” you will need at least a free Amazon account; that way, you can return to watch “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” whenever you want to.

If you choose the rental option, you’ll have 30 days to begin watching the movie and 48 hours of access once you’ve pressed play.

While you can stream “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” at home now, some may prefer a physical alternative to owning movies digitally, because there’s always the chance that rights may be revoked and you’ll lose that digital access.

Physical discs are tangible proof that, as long as you have a player to play them, you’ll be able to watch the movies you own.

“Spider-Man: Brand New Day” will be released on Blu-ray, 4K and regular DVD on December 15, but preorders are open now for release day delivery.
