The George Kittle look-alike contest brought out the shaggiest 49ers fans

Make California Post a Preferred Source George Kittle certainly has a unique look to him.

Hours before the 49ers improved to 4-0 on the season, in a 24-14 victory at home on Sunday against the Denver Broncos, the team hosted a “George Kittle look-alike” contest, where the winner was awarded a pair of 49ers season tickets.

Many tried to attempt to join the contest. But many failed.

Fan were seen wearing Kittle No.85 jerseys while some were sporting it with blonde wigs and fake beards. Others had the real thing.

“[I found out about the contest] last week and I was like, ‘I’m buying tickets, I have to,'” one fan said while being interviewed.

As the event was going on, the Kittle pretenders were seen running up the stage while holding Bud Light beer kegs.

A fan named Nickey was confident in his similarities to Kittle, as when he went on the stage, he showed a full display of confidence by saying, “My name is Nickey and George Kittle looks like me.”

It’s unknown who won the “George Kittle look-alike” contest, but what is known is that Kittle looks like his old self as he’s already four games into the season after tearing his Achilles during the Wild Card last January.

On Sunday, Kittle had four receptions for 70 yards and hauled in his fourth touchdown pass of the season, from a screen pass that he bolted into the endzone for a 56-yard touchdown.

Kittle has had a touchdown reception in the 49ers’ last three games and has caught 16 receptions for 244 yards this season.
