The 6-foot-8 Sane was in Queens Supreme Court on Monday, but Judge Karina E. Alomar didn’t rule on the case, instead reserving her decision until the two sides present their arguments again next month.

Near the end of the hearing, she asked Sane’s attorneys, Elliot Sol Abrams and Kareem R. Vesssup, if they would like to bring in witnesses to further argue their case at a later date, and they took her up on that opportunity. The NCAA didn’t object.
