Scooter Braun mends friendship with famous ex client 7 years after explosive fallout over Taylor Swift feud

Make Page Six a Preferred Source Scooter Braun and his former client Todrick Hall appear to have mended their friendship seven years after the singer publicly blasted the music mogul amid his infamous feud with Taylor Swift.

The pair are now following each other on Instagram, and Braun publicly showed his support for Hall’s new Off-Broadway musical, “Midnight,” over the weekend.

Braun shared a video of cast member Ayana George delivering a powerhouse vocal during rehearsals for the musical on his Instagram Story.

“Must watch and must listen Off broadway now @midnight,” Braun wrote over the clip.

Hall welcomed the support, as he reshared the music producer’s post to his own Instagram Story.

Representatives for Hall and Braun did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.

It’s a full-circle moment for the former collaborators, whose relationship soured in 2019 when Hall came to the defense of Swift during her battle with Braun over the sale of her music catalog.

Hall, who had previously been managed by Braun for six years, didn’t mince words about his former manager at the time.

“I am saddened by this news, but not shocked. He is an evil person who’s (sic) only concern is his wealth and feeding his disgusting ego,” Hall wrote on social media in June 2019.

“I believe he is homophobic & I know from his own mouth that he is not a Swift fan,” he continued.

Braun did not publicly respond to Hall’s accusations, though his then-SB Projects executive Allison Kaye vehemently defended him and called Hall’s allegations “disgusting and defamatory.”

Seven years later, however, the former collaborators appear to have put their contentious history behind them.

Hall’s new musical, “Midnight,” is currently playing Off-Broadway and was written, directed and produced by the performer, who also stars in the production.

The original musical, set in the American South during the 19th century, follows 12 interconnected characters and explores race, class, identity and relationships through a score combining gospel, R&B, pop, rock, folk, opera and musical theater.

“Midnight” has also been earning rave reviews from theatergoers since making its Off-Broadway debut, with audience members flooding social media with praise for the production.

“This show was so beautiful and fun and emotional and intentional and lovely and clever and heartbreaking and joyous,” one attendee raved.

Another called the production “incredible,” while a third declared Hall “a genius” and said the show would leave audiences “speechless in the best way.”

The production currently boasts a 4.8 out of 5 rating from verified customers on Broadway.com.
