Make California Post a Preferred Source Lakers star guard Austin Reaves has found a home in Los Angeles, in more ways than one.
Reaves signed a four-year, $185 million contract extension to remain with the Lakers this offseason, and is expected to play a key role for the team this upcoming season.
The 28-year-old has also seemingly found an actual home in the area. His girlfriend, Jenna Barber, conveyed as much with a post to her Instagram story on Sunday.
The post showed her and Reaves holding hands and walking down a street. It was captioned, “Currently: Got a house / Graduation in Dec. / THREE more months long distance!!!!”
Barber is currently a graduate student at the Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri. She started there in 2023 after graduating from the Univeristy of Arkansas in 2022, and this post suggests that she’ll be getting her graduate degree this winter.
Once Barber does, it sounds like she and Reaves have already found a home in the Los Angeles area, and will be joining him there as soon as she’s able.

The Lakers will need a great season from Reaves if they’re to reach their goals this season.
Ideally, Reaves would help the team win a ring. Although Barber getting an engagement ring first feels more likely at this rate.
