Make California Post a Preferred Source Tom Brady is finished collecting rings on the football field. He has now turned his attention toward watches and has cultivated an impressive collection.
Brady showed one such piece on his Instagram Story on Saturday, one day before he was in the broadcast booth for Sunday’s Rams vs. Eagles game.
The photo was a close-up of a Rolex Cosmograph Daytona “Orange Sapphire” with a black chronograph dial, orange sapphire hour markers, a bezel set with baguette-cut orange sapphires and a black rubber bracelet.
“Almost time!!! rams at eagles @nflonfox LGF tomorrow 1 pm,” Brady’s caption reads.
This is a rare watch that doesn’t appear in a standard Rolex catalog model, which makes it tough to nail down how much it goes for on the market.
But several retailers are selling the watch for anywhere around $290,000 to $325,000, showing that it’s worth at least $300,000.
It looked like Brady took the photo while he was studying film for Sunday’s game. And whatever he saw probably didn’t prepare him to see Philadelphia fumble a comfortable fourth-quarter lead, which ended up with a stunning 24-20 win for Los Angeles, snapping a four-game losing streak against the Eagles.
Blowing fourth-quarter leads is a foreign concept for the seven-time Super Bowl champion.
